GRINDMAXX is a local-first focus tracker. raw tracking data stays on your machine. wins sharing is opt-in.
GRINDMAXX is a local productivity tracker that watches what apps and websites you're using and turns your day into a score. No fluff, no fake metrics, no engagement-brained dashboards trying to keep you on the app. Just the truth about your day.
Most productivity tools are built to make you feel productive. GRINDMAXX is built to make you actually be productive. It tracks the apps, flags the NPC behaviour, celebrates the Ws, and calls you out on the Ls. Then it resets at 5am and you do it again.
Share Ws. Post Ls. Stay on your grind. That's the whole thing.
Everything GRINDMAXX tracks lives in a SQLite database on your machine. App sessions, URLs, idle time, and classifications are not uploaded to us. If you use the Wall, only the summary you choose to post leaves your Mac.
The Wall and Leaderboard are 100% opt-in. Nothing posts without you hitting share, and Wall cards are summaries, not your raw activity log. Here's the full breakdown:
| Data | Where it goes | Status |
|---|---|---|
| App names & URLs visited | Stays on your machine | NEVER SHARED |
| Private / incognito browsing | Not recorded at all | NEVER TRACKED |
| Raw session history | Local DB only | LOCAL ONLY |
| Grind score, rizz score | Wall & leaderboard if you post | OPT-IN |
| Grind hours, mog time | Wall & leaderboard if you post | OPT-IN |
| Top 3 apps (names only, no URLs) | Wall posts only | OPT-IN |
| Trophy earns & achievements | Wall if you post wins | OPT-IN |
| Username (self-chosen) | Wall & leaderboard with any post | OPT-IN |
| Your UUID | Used server-side to link posts, never displayed | INTERNAL ONLY |
| Hourly beacon ping | Just says "grinder online" — no data payload | OPT-IN (server config) |
The Wall is a public feed of grind cards. When you post, you're sharing your score, grind hours, trophies, optional caption, and top app names. No raw URLs, no session history, no DMs, no comments, no follows, no algorithm deciding what you see.
The Leaderboard ranks grindlords by score, hours, or consistency. It's opt-in. Your UUID deduplicates posts server-side — it's never shown publicly, only your chosen username.
Why share at all? Because accountability works. When grindlords post their Ws and call out their Ls honestly, it creates a culture where showing up consistently is the norm. Not fake productivity — actual output. The Ls matter as much as the Ws. That's the whole point.
